Factory Street Study
The upstairs study was designed as a versatile space, functioning as a home office and additional living room. The builder, RW Anderson & Sons, brought a creative touch by incorporating wooden beams, a thoughtful nod to the home’s historic character. To further enhance the architectural interest, we collaborated as a team to add paneling on the walls and ceiling, bringing depth and texture to the crisp white backdrop.
Unlike the rest of the home, this study features a slightly distinct aesthetic. We introduced subtle pops of red, seen in the “sailor stripe” window treatments and the intricate patterns of the accent pillows, adding a playful yet refined contrast.
For styling, we focused on layering vintage books and curated accessories to infuse the space with charm and character, ensuring it feels both storied and inviting.
