Factory Street Pantry
The Factory Street pantry is the ultimate multi-functional space. Originally an oversized guest bathroom adjacent to the kitchen and dining room, we recognized that it wasn’t the best use of space for our client.
With direct access to both the kitchen and backyard gardens, we redesigned this area to serve as both a pantry extension and a potting room for his growing plant collection.
To achieve this, we incorporated durable brick flooring and custom cabinetry designed to store garden tools, pots, baskets, and essentials. For added depth and character, we selected Black Soapstone countertops, which will develop a rich patina over time, complementing the unlacquered brass faucet. Our goal was not to create a pristine, delicate space but rather a hardworking, timeless room built to withstand daily use while aging beautifully.
Want to shop the look? This potting collection and more gardening essentials can be found on here - our Spring Collection.
Within the pantry space, we also designed a hidden powder bathroom, discreetly enclosed behind a pocket door. We approach every powder room as a boutique experience, which led us to design this one with a striking statement stone, a mix of metals, textured grasscloth wallpaper, and carefully curated vintage pieces.
