Factory Street Cigar Lounge

The most unique space in the home is the cigar lounge, designed as a personal retreat for our client. Throughout the project, he had two requests: (1) to keep the design timeless and relaxed, and (2) to have a dedicated space where he could relax in a leather chair and enjoy a cigar.

This lounge is fully equipped for both smoking and unwinding with a cocktail, featuring an ice maker and a drink fridge for effortless entertaining. We kept the furnishings intentionally minimal, allowing the rich contrast between the Farrow & Ball Black Blue built-ins and warm wood paneling to take center stage.

The leather chair—crafted by hand in North Carolina—is made from genuine leather that will develop a beautiful patina over time. For additional seating, we designed a Ralph Lauren-inspired settee, custom-made locally on Cape Cod, adding a tailored yet relaxed feel to the space.

To complete the space, we hung our clients artwork, added a vintage rug, and accessorized with bar essentials from Mac & Co. Shoppe. A few of our personal favorites are the Leather Ice Bucket, Berkeley Decanter, and Leather Boxes which can be statements in every home.
