With good bones and historic charm, this 1930’s Cape Cod cottage only called for minor cosmetic updates. Classic and modern notes meet perfectly. Hewn wood beams and clapboard walls add character. New paint helped to brighten the ceilings to draw the eye up, creating an illusion of a larger space.
A thoughtful blend of Scandinavian minimalism and contemporary coastal design. Greenery reminiscent of Nordic landscapes and natural leathers compliment classic coastal hues. On display in the dining area, a curated collection of vintage pieces carefully layered to add worn details and a mark of personality. Each one hand selected to signal a sense of belonging; giving the impression of being acquired, not purchased.
