TRURO , MA
A Whimsical Revival of Truro’s quiet charm - where history meets nostalgia.
When most people think of summers on Cape Cod, they picture Chatham—picturesque landscaping, preppy clothing, blue-and-white designs, and pristine homes. Yet, just 25 miles farther down Cape lies Truro, Massachusetts—a town that tells the deeper story of Cape Cod. It is where English colonists first settled, and it grew into one of the most prominent whaling and fishing communities on the Cape. Today, it remains the least populated town, with only 1,675 residents.
Throughout the design process, we kept coming back to the term "whimsical." To bring this vision to life, we brought bold colors with vintage textiles into this renovated post office while still having the design connect back to the quiet charm of North Truro.
