From renovation projects to a room refresh, we can support and guide your design decisions and offer overall project guidance. Designers on our team can answer all of your questions and provide thoughtful feedback. We advise on topics from furniture placement, decor selection, styling, construction and remodel, floor plan layouts, paint plans, etc. These sessions can be virtual conferences or in- person meetings.

FAQs

  • Traditionally, consultations take place via a Zoom video call or phone call. We also offer in person meetings for local clients who are invited to join us at our studio. Prior to the scheduled consultation, you will receive a link via email to join the video call or phone call. This is a collaborative, unstructured meeting that can be tailored to fit your specific project needs.

  • We ask that you send us an imagery, inspiration, or notes about your space ahead of the meeting time. Our team will review these documents beforehand and will be ready to answer any questions you may have and provide feedback in real time. You may choose to put together a presentation in which we can walk through during the meeting, or simply send us this information via email. If participating in a Zoom call, we will be able to walk through your space together during the call. However, imagery is just as affective if you prefer a phone call or in person meeting.

  • We find that clients are pleasantly surprised to find that one consultation call can often be enough to get all of their questions answered. The goal being that by the end of our time together, you walk away feeling inspired, confident, and energized to conquer any challenges you may have been facing. After completing numerous projects of varying sizes and styles, our team can quickly immerse themselves into your space and provide helpful advice without any hesitation or delay. The advice provided is thoughtful, encouraging, and personalized for your room(s).

  • Consultation calls are intended for clients looking for guidance, support, and advice as they embark on their design journey. Clients may be facing difficulty seeing a vision for their space and may be looking for an expert’s help with floor planning, aesthetic direction, furniture suggestions, paint colors, etc. They are often in the beginning stages of their project and are not ready to purchase furnishings and accessories just yet. Virtual Design is a much more structured service in which clients are looking for help to select and source furnishings and accessories.

  • Our design team can recommend ideas for product they think would work best in your space in terms of style, color, size, etc. However, we don’t purchase from retail vendors, therefore exact product recommendations will be based on items we currently carry in our Mac & Co. Shoppe. You may use these products as a guide to find similar products from your preferred vendor.

    If you would like to purchase furnishings directly from us, we would suggest considering our Studio Design Service. If you would like more guidance in terms of floor planning and furniture suggestions, we would recommend our Virtual Design Service.

  • No! We are happy to offer multiple consultation sessions in order to help you achieve your specific project goals. We want each client to feel confident on their journey and know that sometimes this process can require more guidance depending on your project size and scope.
